This project involved the construction of a substantial extension to a detached property in Dunbar. Border Roofing project managed all aspects of the build.
The ‘Summer Room’ extension was designed to match the architecture of the main house while adding to its liveability and value. The new room features extensive double glazing, hardwood flooring, bi-fold doors and a tiled roof with sky lights. Everything was done to meet the home owners’ needs for a bright, sun-filled room that could be used year-round for relaxation and entertaining. For example, a high-vaulted ceiling was specified and this was achieved using steel beams.
